A letter to the girl without a father
I couldn't have written these words more beautifully or described as accurately what it feels like to live without a father (or with an absent father who chose to leave). Lauren, writing over at A Deeper Story, took my breath away and the words right out of my mouth when telling her personal story about an imperfect father-daughter relationship that led her to her heavenly, eternal, and perfect Father for a relationship that meets all of her needs and more. I hope you read it. If anything, it gives you a glimpse into my experience and heart wounds. It paints a picture of the relationship I have with my father and my Father today.
